You can believe this story or not. Everyone is making a big deal over it but the person who wagered it might have been worth hundreds of millions. It only matters to people who can't fathom high net worth individuals. It's like when Charles Barkley loses $1 million playing BJ in Las Vegas in one night. Good, he will make some Subway commercial that pays him more money for a days work than most people make in a lifetime. But every local and national sports talk show is calling this guy an idiot. Who cares. He is banging his girlfriend while staring out the window of his estate overlooking Los Angeles. While you living in some shitty house with your fat wife cooking you a TV dinner.

Last night's game between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Jacksonville Jaguars will be hard to forget for years to come. The Bolts jumped to a 27-0 lead in the first half but still managed to lose the game 30-31.

Since the NFL playoffs began, a lot of betting action has been seen in the games. When LA were up 27-0, one person dropped $1.4 million on them to win the game. Had the Chargers won, the person would have made a quick profit of $11,200.

The ones criticizing probablyy can't fathom a million $ bet.The person with the financial means to make it is smarter than the avg Joe and isn't losing the rent or mortgage payment or having to borrow against his meager retirement fund like the guy making the $100 bet praying it wins because $100 will make or break him while this "idiot" is laughing at the broke asses mocking him and wishing they could be him

Honestly the way you state the story is like everyone is a loser if they don't have millions to throw away is funny
The irony is that makes people who do this a bigger joke. It is the opposite of what you are saying

I understand what you are saying. It was all day on WIP in Philadelphia. The radio hosts are clueless. Obviously it was a bad bet. The Vikings came back from 33-0 this year. My whole point is this guy has so much money $1.4 million means nothing. He probably bets huge on DraftKings all the time. The people ripping him can only dream of having that kind of money.

How many millions?
If he can waste 1.4 he can waste 5-10 20 million
Stupid
You guys don't even know who the guy is anyway
He must be rich and can do no wrong lmao

Very odd thread to start only to defend possibly a rich degenerate and say criticizing him means you and your wife are fat and losers?
Strange topic and way to discuss it

Maybe you should find different content to consume?

Who cares what some fools on WIP think because they're trying to fill 3 hours a day and have to keep it low info for the masses?

Only a bad bet if it loses. Could have easily went on to win 41-7 or something like that...

Obviously at the time he believed it was 11.2k laying on the sidewalk and all he had to do was bend over and pick it up.

I don't care how rich you are...5.1k an hour(assuming game had 2 hours left to finish) is an amazing hourly. :)

Certainly explains why so few people are wealthy. It is like the college professor trying to explain the path to nuclear fusion to a First Grader and the first grader says I don't understand so you must be an idiot for teaching it
